During commercials I recommend doing a flight of stairs, load of laudry, fold clothes, never sit still in front of the TV. Most commercials are 2 minutes so in a 60 minute show there is usually about 20 minutes commercials crosses over to 20 minutes exercise emoticon

    When I'm standing, I'm always moving! When I'm sitting at the computer, I have a little stepper (an LTT - lateral thigh trainer) that I position so I can keep my body in motion. STEP ON!!!

    I do a lot of that anyway, but that encourages me to be conscious of getting up during every commercial. Thanks. emoticon

    I love the invention of the DVR!! I watch about 20-30 minutes of a show and then I'm up doing laundry, washing dishes, taking my dogs outside, checking the mail, etc etc. I used to sleep thru movies at home starting before the half point, instead now I pause it and do something in order to keep the blood pumping!!

    xtra steps has been one of my best secrets! A pedometer helps me stay focused on being active.
