When celebrating in Epcot at the Food and Wine festival it is easy to overeat. But you can survive and still enjoy the tempting treats. The key is to attend with friends and to share a dish at each country.

My husband and I are attending the festival. At each country we pick a dish we would like to try. In sharing it, I take two bites and then my husband finishes it. Neither of us are overeating and we get to experience the different foods.

Getting married at the Texas Renaissance Festival - 11/6/10
I find that when I avoid wine, I lose weight. It's not rocket science. After a couple glasses of wine, I eat unhealthy foods or too much food. I usually have wine on weekends, but then I find that all my week long efforts and weight loss are squashed by my weekend antics. Not worth it.
