I was not gettin much fiber, so I bought a packet of flaxseeds, started adding a tbspoon to my cereal in the morning and other foods during the day. It not only helped my IBS problem now that I "go" every day but I have lost and am loosing pounds..yipee!!
Make sure you drink plenty of water to help push all that bulk and waste out.

Bulk purchases make a lot of sense in some situations, but it's easy to assume that buying in bulk is always cheaper. It's not. Do some comparison shopping, calculating the $ per ounce. If something is on sale, it will usually be cheaper than bulk, as bulk rarely goes on sale.
However, my favorite snack of all time, Fiber One bars, are a great deal at Sam's Club, at about $7.50 for 20 bars. This is much cheaper than the normal grocery stores, even when there is a sale.
I bring Kellogg's Fiber Plus Cinnamon Oats Cereal pre measured in a bag for a healthy snack. I can eat it one piece at a time so it lasts awhile and the cinnamon is satisfying as a "sweet". Ups my fiber for the day!
