Make Oatmeal Ahead Of Time

This Sparked Me!

I love oatmeal in the morning, but I do not like the texture of instant. As a result, I rarely have time to make my whole oats before I am out the door. I have found that if I prepare my breakfast the night ahead, it re-heats nicely. Now I make enough for 2 or 3 days ahead of time and keep the individual portions in the refrigerator. Fast, easy, and starts my day off right!

I do the same thing. I make 2 days worth and take it to work every morining. It makes life so much easier and I LOVE OATMEAL for breakfast.

Another choice is eating it cold instead of warming it up, I like it like that way very much, with fresh fruit added and it is really good. Of course, it depends on the weather.

Thanks for the tip! I love oatmeal, too, but I'm sooo busy in the morning that I'm usually grabbing a piece of toast and peanut butter for the sake of convience. Now, I'll have another option! emoticon
