People need reinforcement. Surround yourself with positive, reinforcing people, and provide them with clear, concrete praise- "I am so impressed you made it to the gym this morning even though you are tired," or "I can tell you have been working really hard at eating healthy, it shows." Then they will compliment you back and suddenly you will be energized to keep with it.
