I find that having a scheduled time for exercise, one that everyone knows and has agreed on, is the best way to keep exercising & not lose focus.
Mine is right when I hit the door coming home from work. I run straight into my exercise clothes and head downstairs without stopping. Everyone in the house knows this, & since I've never made an exception, they wait until I'm finished. Its only 45 min or less. Whatever they need can wait.
