When you think you can't walk another step, look toward the goal....you can do it. I am living proof. Turned 70 today and walked total for 13 or 14 miles in last 2 weeks. emoticon

    Fantastic!!! I am enjoying walking more and more each day since joining spark People and choosing a healthier lifestyle!! You are living proof that walking is a great form of exercise, but I should already know this my grandfather walked a mile each day almost to the day he died and he was 96!! You are an inspiration to us all!!! emoticon

    This makes me think of every race I did this year, from 5ks, 5 milers , half, full, and an ultra.....in every race I had someone in their 60 s and 70s smoke me ....im 42....I get so proud of them when i read the results and see a 71 yr old ran a 21 minute 5k.....this isn't easy for the average 20 yr old ....way to go I hope someday I can run with them.......

    Thank you for your inspiration. I'm 64 and have been disabled for 18 years. Walking is my only form of exercise. I'm heading to the treadmill at 8 pm and do my walking! Thank you for the boost!!!

    In the last 8 yrs. I have been walking almost daily for a total of 3 to 5 miles daily. I am certainly in much better shape than I'd been before and now I am 65 and still going strong.
