Suddenly noticing you are chilly can be a sign that your metabolism just dropped into low gear. Rev it up by moving around. It doesn't need to be a lot of moving around either. Simple tasks around the house like emptying the dishwasher or folding the laundry can be enough to get things going and warm you up. If you really want to kick it up throw in a workout DVD or go for a walk or a jog.

    I never thought of the connection before, but of course it makes sense! I will certainly try it to see if that will help with the winter stall in weight loss. Thanks for sharing!

    I'm sooo with you on this! In the winter I keep the thermostat at 66. If I get cold, I know I've been sitting for too long and it's time to, at least, run in place for 3 minutes.
