Get a plate that is is an inch or so smaller than what you are used to. The smaller portions will look right on a smaller plate. It stops working when you get to a plate that's so small that you cease to believe it can hold a full meal.
One thing about bento is that you're limited in how much room you have to work with, so it enforces a limit.

I love these products! I prepare my lunch the night before & everything is measured, stays fresh and, with the ice packs & my cooler, I can keep at my desk instead of the shared fridge where food is so often taken.
The containers are cheaper on the mfgr website than on SP, but either way, I recommend them because they help avoid "portion distortion".
Think you have no time to exercise? Use those minutes you spend just standing. Sometimes when there is a minute left on the timer when I am cooking something, I'll use that minute to do jumping jacks, squats, high knees, etc.
Taking advantage of those idle moments can add up to some time that you are moving.
