Interval Training Without A Watch

This Sparked Me!

I pedal my stationary bike for a half hour while watching a half hour show. To get an interval workout in, I increase resistance and cadence during the commercials and return to a moderate pace during the show.

I always put in a movie when I ride my bike, makes the time fly by...great idea regarding the change of pace creating intervals! emoticon

Great idea for the bike, I'm going to try that today. When I'm walking, I like to use the distance between the telephone poles for interval training alternating with increased pace and regular pace. It sure makes the walk go by faster, especially if I've forgotten music.

I like the idea. If I had a treadmill or stationary bike I'd do it.
