Avoid House-Cleaning-

This Sparked Me!

If I'm cleaning 1 room and find something that belongs in another room, I go to the other room and find myself cleaning in there. Instead, I now use empty laundry baskets to hold all the things that go in other rooms. When I'm done in room 1, I take the basket of stuff that belongs in room 2 and put them away, then room 3, etc. That way, I avoid running from room to room and I actually get at least 1 room completely clean! emoticon

YES, I have done the same crazy thing. I like your solution.

Hahaha - I read this because I thought you were going to tell me how to Avoid Housecleaning - lol. But I like this idea better.

I do the same thing, I put things in a pile for each room/person and then when I finish with that room I put stuff away or let that person put their own stuff away.

I am with you on this one. I move from one place to another to put something away and then find something to do in that room. I work in that room until I need to put something in another room and process keeps going. Sometimes I never do get my original task complete.

That sounds like me ---I'm very right-brained and get distracted if I move from room to room. I'll have to try your method. It sounds like it might work for me.
