Love peanut butter? Then you'll know how a serving as a snack/dip doesn't seem like much. I found that if I microwave 1 Tbsp of natural peanut butter for 30 seconds, the warmth thins out the consistency and makes it seem more like 2 Tbsp, but with half the fat and cals. It lasts much longer for dipping with apples, celery, pears, bananas... sometimes I even toss in 1 tsp of mini chocolate chips for an extra special treat!

It basically removes all of the oil leaving you with a powdered peanut butter that you add to dishes or favorite drink!!! Way less calories and still get the peanut butter flavor :) Their website also has lots of great recipes. PB2 only has 45 calories so this cuts about 150 calories compared to regular peanut butter 224
If you or your children have nut allergies and cannot use peanut butter or other nut butters, give SunButter a try. Unlike Soy butter (yuck), it tastes just like peanut butter. It is made from sunflower seeds I use it in recipes that call for peanut butter, so that my allergic son can safely enjoy them. I also spread it on toast or enjoy it any other way you would normally enjoy peanut butter.
