I know it sounds counterintuitive but pretending I am not trying to loose weight seems to be the sure fire way to ensure that I do. I weigh myself only every 2.5 weeks (bigger numbers = more incentive) and force all thoughts of weight loss from my mind. Instead I think about the good I am doing for my muscles, my heart and my emotional well being. Then come weigh-in day the weight loss is like a lovely surprise!
I heard a weight loss expert on a radio talk show putting down acai berry diets.
