    I do this too. When I get to the end of my driveway On M-W F I walk to my right for 3 miles on mostly level ground. On T-Th-S I walk to my left and walk a 2-3/4 mile route that is up & down hills with a short straightaway. I see different scenery and meet different people.

    My walk usually involves a destination like the theater, restaurant, or appointment. It doesn't get boring because it is a means to an end.

    The more variety the better! There is always something new to see. Feels like fun and not exercise, plus we walk further!
