Sometimes, it's necessary for a doctor's office to change an appointment. However, if it becomes a regular habit, then you have a right to say no to the constant changes. Even doctors can be fired. Remember, you're the one footing the bill. They need you worse than you need them.

I suffered with chronic insomnia for 9 months now. I am finally found the solution with two Doctor's help. I take 3 tablets of Cal/Mag at lunch time and then 2 hours before bed I take 3 tablets of Melontin and find I can sleep now for 7 hours straight, now headache or sleepiness in the morning and have more energy.

If you have a doctor who doesn't listen to you, or who marginalizes what you say, or who tells you that you can't possibly be having the reactions/symptoms you're having, or treats you like you're "less than," fire their dumb butt! Doctors are like shoes, they're not one size fits all. Find one that fits you comfortably. Do you need one who listens & spends time with you? Or do you need one who has all the answers but may not have the best bedside manner?
Check Google or SparkSearch for "doctor ratings" and your geographic area. This will bring up info about others' experiences with doctors in your area. Talk to people at support groups for your particular illness (diabetes, arthritis): they often know the best docs in their field.
