I've heard about eating smaller meals & more of them is a healthy way to go. I've been following the practice of 200 - 300 calories every 2 - 3 hours and have been doing well. I discovered there's a "diet" called 6 word diet and ironically it is virtually the same thing. The 6 word diet, in a nut shell as I understand it, 100 calories every 90 minutes - that would be 200 calories in 3 hours. Just a testimony to eating healthy versus dieting.

This is the secret of many spendy diet plans, to be honest. The secret is to keep your blood sugar from spiking. Spikes in blood sugar=stored fat. If you can keep your engine stoked with healthy protein and carbs (vegetables carbs are the absolute best), your machine will purr like a kitten, and burn fuel more efficiently. The real trick is to keep your engine filled just enough, NOT to overflow! Now go burn some of that fuel!
