A regular aspirin is 325 mg. Low doses are 81 mg. I save a lot by buying the regular which are really cheap, and cutting them into four pieces.

    You should be extra cautious in splitting pills. Generally, If a pill is scored, it is appropriate to cut only the the number of times it is scored. If the pill is not scored, good idea to just let it be.
