Focus on good, sweaty cardio excercise- always pushing for and past your target heart rate. Try to eat as much fresh produce as you can and organic if its available. And wash it first!!!!

As I make dinner, I put all dirty items in the dishwasher so nothing is left on the counter or in the sink as I cook. By the time dinner is ready, the kitchen is clean. After dinner, put the dirty plates & silver immediately into the dishwasher. Clean the counter & enjoy waking up to a clean kitchen.
Does your DH put up the clean dishes, or are the dishes in the dishwasher dirty? If you're having trouble remembering or your spouse helps only sometimes, make a small sign with your computer that has CLEAN printed on one side, & DIRTY on the other. Place some of the thin, plain refrigerator magnets you get in the office supply section of WalMart facing opposite directions at the top and bottom of the sign. Cover both sides with clear contact paper, placing them back to back and stick together.
Now everyone can see if the dishes are dirty or are clean and ready to be put up.
Husbands can learn when to put up dishes after only two or three hints - I'm a perfect example!
