It seems I am always wanting to put food in my mouth because I am either hungry or just out of pure habit. So what I have been doing is eating a whole head (yep) of lettuce a day. This helped me out incredibly. I get full from the water in the lettuce and crunch helps me know I ate.
I add a little salad dressing and some crackers (under 100 cals) so it's not all one note.
