I find that when I am anxious about the day, about my weight loss, and things in general, I take some deep breaths and sit quietly for a few minutes. I find that helps to get me back in balance.
My doctor recommended a book by Jon Kabat-Zinn "Wherever You Go There You Are". It is a lot about meditation, but really keeps you centered in the now. Forget about the past and don't worry about the future, just your life in the now.

Life sometimes sends obstacles to us--and these can be tough--time consuming or stressful or painful or destructive in other ways. That should not stop us from having success in improving our lifestyle and our health. If you have to, cut back on the time you spend here on the SP site. Who said Life was easy or there is an end to struggle? Just as you have to make a lifestyle healthy eating change & adjust to it till it becomes part of everyday life & no longer a "diet" struggle. You also can deal w/ what negative life brings to you by accepting, adjusting to it, riding it out, gaining strength, knowledge & adapting to it's changes till life gets easier again. With time & experience, you get better at emotionally & physically handling things. The struggle doesn't ever end. But
it does get easier. Life becomes smoother. You grow stronger & taller. Then you can run faster for a longer time. Then you gain confidence which leads you to challenge yourself. Then you succeed.
