It seemed like a silly challenge to collect a penny a spark point... but I started it to try and get consistent. Earn some money for some small achievements that are not focused on the scale. First a haircut and then the latest novel by my favourite author. It started adding up! Now I am working towards a stereo and have over $120! The weight loss is a reward in itself, but sometimes I need to reward myself for all the steps I take to lose that weight!

Give yourself a penny for each point you earn on Spark then you can use them to reward yourself when you reach goals.

I had this idea a long time ago to set a jar near my pc and add pennies to it each day for my Spark points--for instance, I have 21,221 points right now, which adds up to $212.21--enough for a really nice reward or a BUNCH of small ones.
I joined a goal of adding up my sparkpoints everyday and for each point I add a penny to my jar.

So far I have 38.94 in my jar. I use change I find lying around the house, in jeans pockets, under cushions, in the car). So what do I plan to do with this change? Buy me 3 lb weights and a workout dvd! Who knows what else! It is money we didn't miss and I am staying motivated in the process!
