Interval Training While Walking



I like to walk both outdoors and on my treadmill. I've been reading about how interval training is a great way to boost metabolism and burn more calories. Basically, you alternate between brisk walking and fast walking/sprinting.

  • I do the interval training sometimes too; in fact I did it this morning on the treadmill--between fast walking & jogging. - by ANNE2002
  • This is what I do on the treadmill. I set the treadmill on random and fitness level at 9 working my way up. I love the various incline adjustment that is automatically done by the machine. Set at level 9 the incline goes up to 7.8 and I'm able to walk without holding on the bar. emoticon - by FITWITHIN
