I like to add grilled chicken to salads. I season boneless skinless chicken breasts with different flavors of Mrs. Dash and grill them. I divide the breasts into 3 ounce servings and freeze in ziploc bags, labeling with seasoning flavor. I usually use romaine lettuce and various vegetables; I don't like salad dressing so I use salsa instead and add a serving of shredded cheese on top.

Holidays and weekends is not an excuse to eat bad!
You don't have to have a burger, dog, potato salad and ice cream! Think before you eat, make smart choices. Salad, fruit, lean meats, light on the bbq sauces. Feel good about yourself at the end of the day and enjoy your meal!
Whenever I'm at McDonalds with the kids I will buy a couple of extra salad dressings and throw them in my fridge. They sell Newman's low fat dressings there. Then when I'm going to a restaurant I don't know well, I'll throw one in my bag in case I order a salad but don't have good dressing choices.
