I paid about $80 on sale for a bun 10-cup coffee maker. We have the professional Bun 2 pot coffee maker at the church and it is fast and wonderful. I was tired of my old one & bought this expensive one. It overflows when you use more than 6 spoons of coffee with the full pot. If I make it with 8 cups and just under the 6 spoons, it's ok, but when I have company & want more, I have a huge mess every time.
I had a DeLonghi before this that made coffee and espresso. I'm now of the opinion that the cheaper, regular coffee makers are the way to go. The espresso stopped coming through and eventually the milk frother stopped working too! Plain, inexpensive coffee makers are just fine.

Instead of buying cleaner for your coffee maker or kettle. Use one cup of vinegar with eight cups of cold water on run it through your coffee maker, with the kettle add 1 cup of vinegar and 4 cups of water and plug it in. When the kettle boils and the coffee maker is done. Rinse with water 3 o4 times and your pots will be cleaned.
There are so many great uses for white vinegar and it is cheap too!
I am someone who needs morning coffee like I need air, but rather than grabbing a cup on my way to work or class I bought a home coffee maker and started saving instantly. The coffee pot paid for itself in under 2 weeks of not purchasing coffee on the go plus I'm not being wasteful since I am no longer using paper and plastic disposable cups from vendors. 271
Put out a huge coffee mug on your counter and every time you want to go out to buy that special cup of coffee, put your money in the mug instead. Either you could save your coffee mug money for an awesome coffee maker or put it in the bank for some healthy groceries or activity. You would be amazed to see how much you save up! 211
