I try to stay positive by not thinking or remember the bad things that got me to the size I was when started with SP. I look at myself and pat myself on the back and say "way to go girl you knew you could do it" I have decided to give myself a new positive talking to every day. Let it be just a simple congrats and pat or a long talk to myself when I have had a struggle that I have worked thru and kept going on. It may sound silly to some but it truly has helped me especially right now.

I realized yesterday that I was starting to think negatively just like my husband always does. My daughter called me out on it. What an eye opener - negativity does breed negativity. If I want to think positive, I need to be around positive people.
Predict you will eat better and work out more next week and you probably will, according to a recent study in the Journal of Consumer Research. The reason is that once you turn wishful thinking into a plan of action, that goal feels more accessible and your behavior becomes more consistent with your ideal.
Simple, but it works! Self-predictions can help reinforce good habits and disrupt bad ones.
