I try to stay positive by not thinking or remember the bad things that got me to the size I was when started with SP. I look at myself and pat myself on the back and say "way to go girl you knew you could do it" I have decided to give myself a new positive talking to every day. Let it be just a simple congrats and pat or a long talk to myself when I have had a struggle that I have worked thru and kept going on. It may sound silly to some but it truly has helped me especially right now.

I realized yesterday that I was starting to think negatively just like my husband always does. My daughter called me out on it. What an eye opener - negativity does breed negativity. If I want to think positive, I need to be around positive people.
When you begin to make lifestyle changes whether it's getting healthy physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, or taking control of finances,or education take the time to recognize the success in even the smallest of changes. Getting excited about the smallest of changes is a lot more healthy than dwelling negatively on were you are vs were you want to be. Positive thinking prompts positve changes. Stay focused, stay encouraged. Remember even the smallest of change is a success.
The tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. Benjamin Mays
