I can not make myself exercise without someone encouraging me, so I found a friend that is relentless once a commitment to meet to exercise is made. It works for me and now I try to do the same thing to other friends. As a result we have formed a DVD exercise group. We meet 3 times a week and put in someones DVD and workout together. Good friends can make a difference in so many ways. Hope this works for someone else.306
I have found two friends who really push me to be in better health. One, my neighbor helps me with food, we exchange recipes, have grill outs, or we SPLIT a bowl of ice cream after taking a walk around the neighborhood. The other friend is a runner. I like to hit the trail with her, even though she is much more advanced, we stretch together, begin and end together, and knowing she's there makes me want to work harder.
