Started back on exercycle & while it's low mileage & resistence, I've been back on it for two days. It's a start.

Isn't it amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it? I, too, use an exercise bike because it was the kindest exercise to my bad knees...initially 15 minutes felt "un-do-able"...now 20-30 minutes fly by in now time. And using the bike has built up my strength and confidence to join a boot camp where I have discovered even more old abilities come back into my life...

Peace & love!

I also have a bike I use at home in the living room. At least if you are going to be on it you could watch some tv and have something to do. Riding with no music on and no TV. would kill me by boredom. I am in better shape then I thought. I havent worked out a day in the last 10 years and my body is sure paying for it. However the first 5 days on the bike or so was the hardest. My butt literally bruised from the seat. Since then I log about 30-45 minutes sections 2 or 3 times a day at resistance level 2 about 14.8 mph.Two days ago I got brave and did 100 minutes in 1 session. If I can do it, you can too!

I've been using the exercise bike for 6 1/2 years, every day that we are home, even birthdays, Christmas, etc. It has been a life saver for myself and my husband. I started out doing 7 minutes the first day, lol, but do 3 hrs. a day now, not all at once however. The bike sits in the living room in front of the tv, not in some back, "spare" room. Worth it's weight in gold!!!
