Secrets of Success

Tired of sending belated cards??

More Information:

Make a list of all the cards you will need either for 6 mos or a year. Make one trip to the store and purchase them all. Address all the envelopes and put the MAIL BY date where the stamp would go and then sort them by month. Put them in a decorative container on your desk or work area.

  • I use my Franklin Covey Planner for this, it keeps a list of me of all special days in the year, which I use as my "card buying" list. I buy all the regular cards, one time a year, then as people get married etc I add those dates to my calendar, my special days list in Planner, my calendar in Planner, and my weekly overview shopping list in Planner. For things just coming up like newly marrieds, I buy everything that is on the calendar as happening next week, this week. - by CAROLFAITHWALKR
  • That is exactly what I do except I make my cards. Put them in spot where the mail goes, and put a mail by date on them and boom they are done. I love doing this and never have to send a belated or an apology card. Great minds lol - by SCORPION1352
  • I am so going to do this. Great idea - thanks!

  • I don't do anniversary cards as cards are so expensive anymore, but I do birthday cards to a special few and occasionally, I'm late. Sure would like to know what the secret of this one is. I think it was lost somewhere. How about trying it again for us?
    Thanks. emoticon - by FLORIDAGHOST
