Make a list of all the cards you will need either for 6 mos or a year. Make one trip to the store and purchase them all. Address all the envelopes and put the MAIL BY date where the stamp would go and then sort them by month. Put them in a decorative container on your desk or work area.

When's the last time you received a tetanus shot? Can't remember, neither could I. I did however turn 40 this past year, so I'm getting one this year so I'll remember I received one during a special birthday year. It doesn't have to be a birthday year, it could be a special anniversary year, high school reunion, child's graduation, just do it in a year that means something. Then when asked by the doctor when was the last time you had one, you should be able to recall.
Don't Ever Forget A Birthday, Anniversary and Holiday Again
I bought myself a little file system and started filing the cards I buy. I made a section for each one - Birthday, Christmas and so on. I buy cards that I like and file them. This way when I need one I have it available to send out. And I am not late for birthdays or anything else. 52
We entertain ALOT. I would get so confused on who liked what that I started a notebook and put the person/family name at the top of one page and made little notes. Nothing major. For example. Loves bananas or drinks diet coke. Just little things that I can do so everyone feels more at home.
You don't need anything special just index cards or PC file or notebook. I also add birthdays or anniversaries just so I know if they are celebrating anything special while they happen to be here.
