Strength Training While Watching Tv

I have several little items that come in handy during commercials, or even during slow parts of a show...Thighmaster, jog trampoline, free weights, stability ball, WALL and FLOOR. Working in a bit of strength training isn't too hard! emoticon

    I am similar in my approach
I squeeze in jumping jacks, squats or anything I can count out and be finished in hubby thinks I am nuts!!!

    I just made a goal of at least 10,000 steps every day. I am sometimes finishing them up while watching TV. Thanks for other ideas!

    I'm going to try this sounds like I can easily incorporate 10 minutes of strength training. Even longer for those TV moments where I sit over 30 minutes. NOT OFTEN but like when I watch a movie on the weekends with my kids.

    I haven't tried strength training while watching tv, but have been riding my recumbent bike while watching episodes of The Walking Dead. Boy does that really help the step count on my Spark Tracker! For shorter sessions I watch shorts from Rifftrax while riding. It helps my mood as well as my physical health!

    That's a lot of keep sitting around the TV. I can not get up and down a wall or on the floor, but some of it might help me along. Thanks for the tip.

    I think we all know we should do some form of exercise while we watch TV, it is a matter of what to do. I think I will start to do some stretching exercises. Thanks for the motivation. emoticon
