If your life seems humdrum or stuck in a rut, it's time to do something off the wall just for the fun of it, like celebrating ITLAPD (International Talk Like a Pirate Day), which is today, by peppering your talk with lots of "Arrrr!", "Yo Ho!", Avast!", and "Shiver Me Timbers!", and encouraging others to join you.
MORE INFORMATION:
ITLAPD has its own website, and is celebrated annually on September 19, but is enough fun that you could get away with it by celebrating randomly on other days, too.

I workout at home a lot and my way of getting my workouts in is to just commit to the first 5 minutes. Even if you dont feel like it just tell yourself "Im only doing 5 minutes and if I still doing feel like working out I'll turn it off" Every time that I've done that I end up doing the whole video. Once you get through the warm up section time just flies by because you're having fun. :)
I am lucky enough to live close enough to work that I can go home for lunch every day. Since I sit at a computer most of my day at work, I use my lunch hour to be active. I usually eat something very simple to make and then use the rest of my hour to pick up the house, load/unload the dishwasher, make the bed, etc and sometimes even get some strength training done. Getting this done during lunch also means more time for fun things after work!
