I always go to the classes I'm interested in before I join a gym because a good instructor can make all the difference. My Zumba instructor brings in belly dance skirts for us to wear and always promotes a fun, positive atmosphere! She's fantastic and makes me want to work that much harder!

I became a certified group fitness/aerobic instructor.
Benefits of aerobics are weight loss or management, helps tone, increases stamina, reduces fatigue, decreases stress, and burns lots of calories. Also, meet lots of fitness buddies. No special equipment is needed. Just music and water!
When I joined a new gym for a fresh start for this process, I made sure to introduce myself to all the trainers, the class instructors, and other gym members. Now everyone knows me there, so going to the gym is a positive experience. I never feel like I have to drag myself there.
I need additional incentive to get to the gym each day. I became a fitness instructor because getting paid to work out is fabulous incentive to show up - plus I get to customize my classes, shaking them up when I need to and only playing music that inspires me :) Recently I found that promising myself some time in the sauna was enough to put a shine on workouts when I am not teaching. Thowing my bathing suit in my gym bag will get me there even when I'd rather poke my eye out :)
