How I Prepare For My Runs

I normally don't get a chance to run until the evenings because of my long work hours. By the time I get home from work the first thing I want to do is crash. I have discovered that if I put on my running clothes immediately I almost always do my runs. So I use a sportsbra under my clothing now and then change immediately w hen I get home. On weekends I dress in running clothes as a reminder that I have to get a run in that day.

MORE INFORMATION:
I leave my ipod, watch, and running belt together so I can grab them as soon as I get dressed.

    I'm wicked busy too and have very little free-time between getting home from work and heading to bed. It's spent preparing dinner, making lunch for the next day, getting clothes ready for the next day and then, if I'm lucky, getting to do some school work. Very little time to squeeze in some excerise.

I love your idea of giving yourself little reminders (wearing the sports bra) to help make sure you do squeeze it in. I'm just starting back to this Sparkpeople-thing and really need to find a way to work in my exercise. Perhaps doing it right after I get home from work will be a surefire way for me to consitently fit it into my after work routine (since there is no time in the morning for me to add it there).
