If you have fruits or veggies about to go bad, don't throw them away, freeze them. You can use the veggies in soups, stews, sauces, stir-fry, etc. You can use the fruit in smoothies, oatmeal, breads, etc. You won't waste money!265
Portion your food ahead of time. Make a large pot of your favorite carb (brown rice, beans, etc.) separate into single portions and freeze. Just pop one of your single servings into the micro for easy use when preparing your meal. This also works great with fruit for smoothies.
