My teenage son's group of guy friends love to play Texas Hold 'em. One night they each anted a fast food coupon and the night's winner took all. My son was so excited to come home with a couple of coupons to take to college this fall. I thought, what a great idea for morning coffee with friends..poker with grocery coupons. I now some folks are anti gambling of any sort so this certainly isn't for them. This is for those that view this as a little fun and not an addiction.

I have recently started to do my shopping at Save-A-Lot. The savings have helped me stay within my food budget. As an example: Bananas are 3lbs for $1.00. Of course you have to know the prices because not everything is a bargain.
They also take coupons and have their own coupons on their web site.
I buy my Sunday paper.then on Mon. go to to couponmom.com to find the deals each store has for the week(it shows coupon you can use with the weekly special to save even more) it has CVS,Walmart,Target,Walgreens, Kroger,Harris Teeter,Food Lion and more. Most stores will also let you use a manufacturer's coupon and store coupon for each item.
