One of the ways I stay active on spark people is to use the spark streaks. Logging on to spark is one of my streaks and because I do not want to break it I have logged on just about every day. Even if I do not feel up to sparking I will log on and that gets me going.

Logging in does help to keep me focused, so I track food, fitness and to see what others are doing and what might work for me.

I have found that logging in MAKES me what to up my points for the day, and in the process, I find lots of info and motivation.

I do the same; I had a streak of over 200 from the day I arrived at SP, then one day I was so busy I just forgot. I was so upset that I had to start over again.
