Save-a-Lot is a good example (that's where we shop).
Even when we use our food to the last box, We didn't spend more than $200 to restock without coupons.

I got angry, offended really, at the things big chain stores told me. There's much better prices out there, you just have to find them.

  • I shop at ALDI's and am amazed at the total savings every time I shop. Also, their "Fit and Active" brand of healthier foods are excellent! - by LSIG14
  • In northwest Oregon, we have Winco for groceries. We also have Grocery Outlet, a salvage grocery. - by _MAOMAO_
  • I find that this is a good idea. I use Bi-Lo for most of my shopping. They have a great produce department, and when I combine that with some good low carb/cal recipes, I get really good deals. They also good deals on healthier foods, not just the high car/cal/fat foods that are so cheap these days. - by ILYAHNA
