i love to make a pitcher of homemade ice tea with fresh mint, in a nice pitcher, i need to see the leaves, i pour a glass full in a special glass and sip away any stress !! and it seems so special. it takes me about a hour to sip a full 16oz of tea, if i was hungry or something was bothering me when i started it will be forgotten by the time i am finished and i am totally refreshed and full. those are great benefits.
there are other benefits, like tea is a great antioxidant and anti aging supplement among many others, try to have at least 1-3 glasses a day with your me time, it also counts as getting in some water. mint also has benefits so drink up.

Find a great tea and love it! Drinking tea is a great way to get in more water each day. You can sweeten it with honey or nothing at all and it keeps you from getting bored with the traditional add-ins like lemons or cucumbers to flavor it. Drinking a good unsweetened tea can also help protect you from some of the negative side effects of artificial sweeteners! Create your own Tea Time!
I have a difficult time not snacking in the afternoons. But I have taken a tip from our friends across the ocean, tea time. When I just need something, I brew a cup of flavored hot tea. There are several varieties to choose from. It helps calm that snacky feeling and gets me back on track. 469
If you are like me and you like sweet tea, try using a teaspoon of honey, splenda or a small amount of fruit juice to sweeten.
