Put your ice cream in a cone! I always tend to serve up more than just one serving (1/2 cup? yeah right!) but you can only fit so much in a cone, and it makes it more fun and tastier too! Plus, it helps me resist the temptation to top it with chocolate, cherries, etc... that could get a lil too messy!
Waffle cones are my favorite, and only 50 calories each. (Plus, it makes it harder to go back and fill up your bowl for more- because you've already eaten it! :) Edy's Light Caramel Delite ice cream is a great combination, btw.

If you are an ice-cream-a-holic like I am, 76468, but you can't control yourself with a carton of ice cream - try this product! I love to bake, so a few years ago I bought a 1-oz cookie dough scoop to make baking cookies easier. Now I use it for ice cream portion control. A half-cup serving is 4 scoops so the kids and I feel like we're really indulging when we're actually exercising moderation!
