Clean the bathroom closets and cupboards to check for what you have..shampoos, soaps, razor refills, etc before you add something to your grocery list. First time I did this I found 3 bottles of shampoo I bought in double "value packs" that I forgot I had!

When I did this while moving, I found I had over a dozen bottles of shampoo and creme rinse! Now it's time to move again, and I'm wondering where to put these so they don't get "lost" in the closet again! HA HA

I make a menu for the upcoming week. Take inventory of pantry, freezer, etc., add any ingredient needed to itemized list. I usually shop at one store,so I have grocery list divided by isle, and note on list if I have a coupon. I stay exclusively to my list unless the store is offering specials.

I buy milk in gallons, then freeze. You have to pour a bit off the top so the containers don't burst, but just use a pitcher. When I am going to need a new milk, I just take out of freezer, put in fridge, it will thaw in a day or two. Use as usually would.
Before hitting up Walmart - or wherever you go to stock your home of daily needs- do a household inventory. This prevents both over buying and under buying.
we tend to focus on the "bad" more than the good. I , what i should not have ate, what i did not do, what i can't fit into... blah,blah,blah. taking inventory of all the good that you are, and that you do will help to keep you on the positive track! i always try to remember one good choice or outlook ... leads to another
