Getting Rid Of Old Clothes

I get rid of my old clothes AS SOON as they are too big. If the remainder of my clothes begin feeling too tight, I know it's time to buckle down and lose a pound or two - or else I won't have any clothes to wear! This forces me to maintain my weight or keep losing.

  • that is a great idea. - by SWEETMOMMY41
  • I did the same thing with every new size I went down. It felt great getting rid of those 'fat' clothes and I found it encouraging also., I always looked so forward to reaching that next size and getting rid of the old! I felt so much better about myself wearing clothes that fit me well, and that kept me going in my weight loss journey. - by LINDAJL3

I did the same thing! I gave my "fat clothes" away! When my new smaller size pants bite into my skin, I know I need to change my eating habits and exercise! - by TXBUTTERFLY84

I would recommend waiting until you're down 20 pounds and then getting rid of the clothes.

I told myself I'd never get to 210 again. I got rid of my 200# clothes. I don't have the money to buy more. I will not go over that ever again.
