In my house we eat a lot of chicken, pork chops, and ground chuck. I'm a member of Sams club and we buy these things in bulk. For example you can get a pack of split chicken breast at Sams for about $14 and you can get about 4 meals out of one pack. Same applies to the pork chops and ground chuck.
A few more things: 1. Don't be afraid of store brands. 2. Be willing to deviate from your list for great deals. 3. If you can wait shop on double or triple coupon days. 4. Get rain checks when sales items are out of stock. 5. As your preferred store to match prices from other stores.
Cut back on the beef and pork! I know, I know juicy steaks, pork chops, BACON, ham, mouth watering ribs, oh so yummy cheddar bratwurst, sausage and so on.. The results are astounding when you cut back on red meats/ pork. Now don't get me wrong I am not suggesting that you cut it complete from your diet. Trust me when you eat less meat product and more veggies your body thanks you! You can feel the good it does..strange yes but so good!
Moderation and substitution are the keys! Turkey Bacon, Turkey Sausage(so yummy),fish. Ever heard of Boca?!? Veggie Burgers, veggie chicken patties, sausage, and "beef" crumbles.. they all taste so good and the burgers are amazing! Less fat, Less calories plus you can still eat beef/pork in moderation.
