On the elliptical trainer I see many people that cover the timer, because it seems to make time move slower, but I do just the opposite, except I play games like doing "X" amount of repetitions before the timer get to 2 mins. You can't control time,but you can control reps.
And my second favorite thing is to listen to music. Peddle to the beat of fast songs, but increase the intensity on slow songs, that keeps things mixed up and unpredictable!

When cooking or eating the smallest changes can make a big difference such as using non fat sour cream and lower fat cheeses. That is also true when eating condiments. I always go for the liter versions. I also try to stay away from white flour and sugar. I try to eat whole wheat products.
