If you restrict it to one meal and get right back on track, if you only binge once a month, you will still lose weight! You never feel deprived because you *always* have a "feast meal" every single month...BUT you must not deviate from this strategy! For me, so far, so good...34 lbs. down 'n' counting!

Tracking what and how much I eat has opened my eyes to both good nutrition and proper portion size. I have found wonderful recipes in the Spark Recipe section and have analyzed my own recipes with the recipe calculator. After only 1 week, I lost 5 pounds and am totally psyched!
cravings getting the best of you,? Before you reach for that comfort food grab a carrot or apple, if possible wait until you've eaten your 5 servings of fruits/veggies , They provide bulk and will reduce your desire.
Often when we binge all needed foods get set aside causing us to continue to binge do to empty stomachs, and fluctuating sugar levels.
Each week I make fresh batches of healthy tuna salad and vegetable soup. I also have lots of fresh fruit, cut vegies and healthy crunchy snacks around. I'm more likely to choose healthy lunch f ood if there is a variety of prepared, easy options available for me to "grab and go." (see recipe links)
