Soak a cinnamon Stick in your tea or take a 500MG of Cinnamon pill.Cinnamon's essential oils also qualify it as an "anti-microbial" food, and cinnamon has been studied for its ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi, including the problematic yeast Candida. It works for me!!
I am a creature of habit in my healthy eating. However, I have found that if I challenge my palette with a LITTLE variety without substantially changing the nutirent value of my food I am happier. Like Nutmeg, garlics, cinnamon or other spices.
I add cinnamon to almost all my dishes. Cinnamon challenges your taste buds and helps salivate which also aids in digestion. Studies have also shown that cinnamon tends to lower your blood sugar levels also.
