Sorry folks but I am a candy-a-holic. Instead of cookies and cake I rather eat a whole package of Sour Patch kids. However, to slim down I put a stop to this. Instead I eat watermelon, peaches, strawberries, bananas, etc.
I try to stay with the sweeter fruits to get my candy fix. So far it has been working great. You can have the flavors you want without the extra calories!

When grapes are on sale I buy a lot and freeze them. Then when I feel like eating something sweet I just pop a few of them in my mouth instead of candy and that eliminates my need to eat cake or candy, and so I don't have to worry about messing up my calorie intake for the day. 277
To avoid having candy around that I might eat too much of, I give dimes instead of candy. I can buy a roll and any left over are just used like any other money. If I don't have many trick-or-treaters and have a lot of dimes left over I just save them for the next year.
