To prevent the after dinner sweet tooth which inevitably leads to cookies or ice cream, as soon as I get up from the table I brush my teeth, floss and mouthwash. The minty fresh flavor helps me to not even think about anything sweet, plus you know the taste of any food in a freshly brushed mouth is nasty!

    While at work, after lunch, when munchies attack - chew minty gum! That will kill the desire for cookies. I need to restock as right now! emoticon

    Brushing my teeth helps delay snacking at work. I will still snack, but the type and timing is better when I brush. I keep a toothbrush and paste in my desk and use them regularly.
