When I'm at work and need to measure out my creamer, I don't like to trust me just eyeballing it on a regular spoon so I measure it using a dosing cup. Each time I get a dosing cup with liquid medicine, I keep it. I can use it instead of measuring spoons. It's very convenient and I don't have to buy another set of measure spoons.271
Over the years I've collected many measuring spoons and cups. A great place to store them is in with food products. Weigh and measure everything that you cook and eat! Most of us suffer from proportion distortion and underestimate what we eat. When you take the time to measure liquids and weigh solids, you will come to learn just how much you're eating!
But a good set of measuring spoons and cups and a good digital kitchen scale -- it will be worth every dime!
