Place goals in a place where they are viewed by all.
I decided at the beginning of this year to make a chart and put it on the fridge (kinda like the fundraiser ones). Each pound I loose I fill it in. I also put a sign with my goal weight on the fridge. Current training/workout schedules are taped on the fridge as well. I notice them each time I walk into the kitchen and so does the rest of my family.
I just discovered Kellogg's Fiber Plus bars with coconut, chocolate and caramel. I love Girl Scout Samoas but they're aren't exactly healthy. I used to put them in the fridge because to me they tasted heavenly that way. Now I put the fiber bars in the fridge and they taste very much like the Samoas only healthier and with more fiber. Woot!
Plenty of Fruits and Veggies Prepared and Ready to Eat
To help me get my at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day I try to keep my refrigerator stocked. When I buy fruits or veggies that need to be prepared (clean, cut, peeled) I do it before I put them in the fridge so when I open the fridge they are ready to go.
This makes throwing together a quick salad really easy. Before fruit goes bad I put it in the freezer so making a fruit smoothie is fast too. Also filling the fridge with good options not tempting unhealthy options help me from mindless eating and making healthy choices.
