Vegetarian Eating For Diabetics

I found that no matter how focussed I was on my eating my blood glucose levels were too high. Once I started eating a vegetarian diet I saw dramatic decreases over the next few weeks.
Once I began eating a vegan diet even more dramatic results occurred. An added bonus was the excellent weight loss without even needing to change exercise levels as well.

    I agree - I started vegan/vegetarian eating per the recommendations in Eat to Live and have been able to cut my insulin by more than half. I'm on a CGM so I can really tell the difference between a cup of beans, a piece of fruit or a piece of candy. Sucks it too me so long to realize it but I think it will be the secret to my success - whole foods for a whole person.

    I started following Eat to Live plan as well and have seen great results too. I don't feel hungry like I used to and I don't count calories. I've lost weight and have more energy. I am trying to help my kids learn from my mistakes so they can be healthier adults.
