29On my best days I'm eating small amounts of food all through the day instead of huge meals. When my stomach feels hunger I eat a small amount of something just enough for the hunger feeling to go away and then drink water every time I eat something. I always feel satiated not stuffed.
I drink cool water to keep hydrated, it tastes better cold too. Cold water also burns calories because your body needs to warm it in order to process it. I drink warm drinks, hot tea, if I am feeling hungry. Warm/hot drinks make you feel satiated. It may not be the best tricks, but they are definitely helpful to me. Especially the hot drink 91
I eat a cup of broth-based soup with a little protein in it before my afternoon and evening meals. It really helps me feel satiated faster and keeps me from going back for seconds on more caloric items. For supreme convenience I make a big batch of soup on Sundays and freeze it in single-serving containers for the week.
Soup ideas include garden veggie, chicken and barley, escarole and spicy turkey sausage, or tofu tom yum.
